Building AL extensions, API integrations, and custom ERP solutions for clients across Europe — Mectron, Klinger, Parcol, TAV Engineering, and Garom among them.
Day-to-day work spans writing and maintaining AL code for extensions and custom functionality, developing integrations between Business Central and external systems via APIs and Power BI, and providing technical support and end-user training across the full development lifecycle.
Led AL development on BE-terna IDC Incoming Documents — a document capture and processing extension now listed on Microsoft AppSource.
Responsible for the automated test suite, performance profiling, and driving the product through Microsoft's certification process from first submission to approval. Alongside the AppSource product, handled NAV 2017 → BC upgrade projects and bespoke client extensions for companies across Italy, Serbia, Denmark, and Ireland.
Built BC extensions and integrations for Albanian clients across manufacturing, retail, and services.
Projects included eCommerce platform integrations via REST APIs, file-based data exchange via SFTP using WinSCP automation, .NET database query integrations, and a JavaScript barcode reader control add-in. Worked across both C/AL and AL throughout the NAV-to-BC transition period, building practical experience with the full migration from classic to the extension model.
Where I entered the ERP field. Built SSRS reports using the SysOperation Framework and RDP patterns, and developed across the full Dynamics AX AOT — Forms, Workflow, Tables, Extended Data Types, Base Enums, Classes, Maps, Views, and Queries.
Managed X++ deployments across Dev, Test, and Production environments using TFS. The grounding in AX's layered architecture and enterprise data modelling carries directly into the BC work that followed.
